Ant Jig

Trigger strikes with this light tin jig that has a deadly slow drop. We only have a few favorite jigs and this is one of them. Tip it with a small grub, spike, maggot or cut red worm to induce fast strikes.

Ice-N-Ant Jig was created by Dan Gapen, Sr.. The Ice-N-Ant Jig's sole purpose was to entice bluegill (bream). Since its creation in the year 2000, it has become a standard lure for the ICE FISHERMAN as well as OPEN WATER FISHERMAN.

Tipped with a small GRUB, the Ice-N-Ant Jig takes most species which feed on insect life beneath the waters of your favorite lake or stream. Bluegill, crappie, perch, redears and multiple species of trout fall to the charms of this buggy little lure. Pick your color and size, then enjoy!

Another popular presentation is to tie the Ice N Ant above your hook bait. To do this, tie an Ice n Ant about 12" - 16" above your hook line - leaving that tail of line below your knot. Then add your hook bait or small jig and you have a killer, multi-depth presentation. You may just find that the fish hit your Ant more than the lower bait.
