The hook and float rig can also be fished on a pole Run the hook and float rig through the tip of your telescopic pole and tie a knot on. You should wrap the line around the pole about 6 times and then tie the knot. This takes the pressure off of the telescopic pole eye.
The float is made of styrofoam and will support a pretty big leech and minnow making this a good choice for fishing bigger swimming baits.
