We recommend new anglers and those with kid fish the stronger size (Pro 4 .15 mm line) as this will be more forgiving. For small kids we actually recommend the (Pro 3 .13 mm line) as it will break easily if stuck in clothing or skin. This is a safer fishing line when fishing with kids.
